Our Mission
The mission of the Ohio State University Chapter of SAA is to serve as a collective voice for students within the chapter area and to advance the rights, interests and welfare of students pursuing careers in audiology. The Chapter will engage students in lifelong professional activities that promote and advance the profession of audiology and provide services, information, education, representation, and advocacy for the profession and the public we serve.​
Outreach & Education
Ohio State SAA strives to educate the community about hearing and balance healthcare and the importance of hearing conservation. We participate in a variety of advocacy and educational opportunities. The Ohio State University Speech & Hearing Clinic Children's Hearing Aid Fund
Ohio State SAA's fundraising mission for the 2019 - 2020 year is the Children's Hearing Aid Fund. The Ohio State University Speech & Hearing Clinic Children's Hearing Aid Fund provides hearing aids for children in need of financial assistance to pursue hearing aid treatment.
